🎨🍔 Food for Thought... and Art! 🍕🧃
Our students just wrapped up an incredible group project where creativity met sustainability! 💡♻️ Using recycled materials, they built large-scale food sculptures that are at least three feet tall or wide—yes, you read that right!
Each piece had to include papier-mâché and showcase top-notch craftsmanship, and let us tell you... the results are mouthwatering good! 😍🍩🍇
🍿 Now it’s time to celebrate their hard work! For each class period, teachers selected their favorite design—and here are the winning teams! 🏆✨
A big thank you to South Florida State College and Big Brothers Big Sisters for hosting an amazing Strive to Success Event at Hardee Junior High School! 🎉 It was a fantastic afternoon filled with games, snacks, and prizes, all in an effort to help students explore the local opportunities available at college. Your commitment to inspiring and empowering the next generation is truly appreciated! 🙌

Our students recently showcased their culinary creativity in a fun and delicious project! 🍴 Each group was tasked with creating a dish that would impress both taste buds and presentation.

The competition was fierce, with 3rd period’s Zest Fest bringing bold flavors and 4th period’s Strawberry Shortcake winning over the judges with its classic sweetness. Congrats to all the students for their hard work and innovation in the kitchen!

Our hardworking students rolled up their sleeves yesterday! They tackled a variety of tasks:

Many STEM students will be assisting at the event, and Percy the Pig 🐷 will be there for fun photo opportunities!

🌟 What an incredible day for Mrs. Eures’ Annex students! 🌟 Today, they proudly participated in the 2025 Special Olympics Florida Law Enforcement Torch Run. The students walked down Main Street Wauchula, making their way to Heritage Park, showing their strength, spirit, and teamwork. 💪
After the walk, everyone gathered for a well-deserved lunch, and each participant received a medal from Sheriff Vent Crawford as a symbol of their hard work and dedication. 🏅
A huge congratulations to all the students for their amazing efforts today! You are all champions! 🙌💙
🎨🐟 Our students have been diving deep into the world of creativity! Using their knowledge of patterns, they applied their skills to create stunning paper mache fish sculptures. 🐠💡 They researched different fish species, learning about their unique shapes and colors, then brought them to life using recycled materials! 🌊

🍓🌟 Field Trip Fun at Sunny Sweet Farms! 🌟🍓
On Tuesday, Mrs. Eures' Annex students had an amazing time picking fresh strawberries at Sunny Sweet Farms in Ft Green! 🍓🌱 Owner Robbie Abbott gave them a fantastic tour, explaining how the berries are planted, grown, and harvested, and even helped the students pick their own delicious strawberries. 🍓✨
The adventure ended with exciting tractor rides around the fields 🚜, and as a special treat, Mr. Abbott generously donated fresh strawberries to the school! 🍓❤️ The whole staff will be enjoying some sweet Strawberry Shortcake this Friday for Valentine’s Day! 🍓🍰💕
🎉🎶 Huge congratulations to the HJH band students who participated in Solo and Ensemble this past weekend! 🌟 They earned an amazing 45 Superior ratings and 9 Excellent ratings! 👏🎵 Keep up the great work, everyone!🎼🎉
